"Bethel's future shines brightest when we honor our past, support our families, and empower our businesses to thrive."
I have had the privilege of calling Bethel home for the past 13 years. To me, Bethel is more than just a place to live—it’s a community of neighbors, friends, and families working together toward a brighter future. I’m deeply committed to contributing to that shared vision by serving as your representative on the Town Council.
Since moving to this remarkable community and building a life with my partner, we’ve grown two local businesses that reflect our values and dedication to the area. We're also proud parents of two children who attend our local public schools. My involvement with local organizations focused on economic development has further deepened my appreciation for the strength and potential of Bethel’s people and businesses.
GET INVOLVED
I look forward to engaging with residents throughout this campaign to hear your concerns, ideas, and hopes for our town. Together, we can create solutions that serve everyone and ensure a prosperous future for Bethel.

Running a local business while raising a family in Bethel has given me a firsthand view of our community's challenges and opportunities. It has highlighted our need for reliable services, family-friendly resources, and strong local support networks. Balancing business responsibilities with family life and community stewardship highlights the importance of accessible childcare, quality education, and economic stability. This dual perspective fosters a deep understanding of how interconnected community well-being and local businesses are, emphasizing the need for practical solutions that serve both working families and small business owners.
Starting a local business and raising a family in Bethel gives you unique perspectives. How has this influenced your understanding of the needs of our community?
My motivation is deeply rooted in my love for my family, my dedication to education, and my belief in the strength of our community. As a parent, I want to lead by example—showing my children that being engaged and responsible in our town matters. My work in early childhood education has given me a front-row seat to the importance of investing in our children’s futures. When we create spaces where families feel supported and children are nurtured, the entire community thrives.
Ultimately, my greatest hope is that when my children grow up and consider where they want to build their futures, they choose Bethel—not out of convenience, but because they’ve seen it grow into a vibrant, welcoming, and sustainable community that they’re proud to call home. That would be the legacy I’d be most honored to leave.
What motivates you personally to pursue this role, and what do you hope your legacy as a Town Councilperson will be?
Keeping the lines of communication open is essential to earning and maintaining the community's trust. People engage in different ways, so it's necessary to use various platforms to reach as many residents as possible—whether in-person or online.
My approach would focus on being accessible, responsive, and respectful of the many ways people prefer to share their thoughts. That includes finding ways to make communication and participation more accessible to working people, families, and seniors—groups whose voices are vital but not always easily heard through traditional channels. Whether through digital tools, community gatherings, or informal conversations, I want residents to feel comfortable participating and confident that their voices matter.
What strategies would you use to engage and communicate with residents to ensure their voices are heard in council decisions?
Bethel's identity as the "Home of Woodstock" is a powerful part of our story rooted in creativity, community, and cultural impact. Legacy should not just live in our history books but also play a role in shaping our future.
While I wouldn't propose any specific steps without residents' input, I support finding thoughtful ways to integrate that heritage into our town's development. That might include supporting local arts, music, and cultural events, preserving spaces that hold historical or emotional significance, and encouraging projects that reflect the values of peace, inclusion, and expression that Woodstock represents.
By weaving this legacy into how we present ourselves to the world—and how we grow as a community—we can strengthen our local pride and appeal as a destination that values its roots while looking ahead.
You emphasized honoring Bethel’s heritage as the “Home of Woodstock.” What steps would you take to integrate this legacy into the town’s identity and development?
